Festival for Local Agricultural Produce Begins Today at Expo

A festival for local agricultural produce will begin today at the Farmers Zone of Expo 2023 Doha, offering fresh vegetables. The festival, called “Expo Festival for Qatar Agricultural Produce,” will run until March 2024 from 4pm to 10pm.

At the festival, a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, including cucumber, leafy greens, pumpkin, beans, and much more.

This season, the seasonal markets are expected to offer a staggering 14,000 tonnes of vegetables, which is a 20 percent increase compared to the previous season. This increase is a testament to the growing number of local farms and their dedication to meeting the demands of the market.
